Thank you. Let's get you up and running.

Right after your payment goes through, you land here — this page walks you through everything. Paystack also emails you a download link so you can grab Bicon whenever you're ready, even from a different phone. Four short steps, about three minutes. If anything goes sideways, scroll to the bottom for troubleshooting, or reply to your purchase email and we'll help.

Here's exactly what happens.

01

Open your email and download Bicon.

Check your inbox for an email from Paystack with the subject "We've received your order." Inside, tap the green Download your files button. That opens a Paystack "Thank you, enjoy!" page with a Download button for Bicon-v1.0.1.zip. Tap it and the file saves to your phone's Downloads folder.

Keep that email — it's your re-download link if you ever change phones, factory-reset, or lose the file. The link doesn't expire.

If you paid on a computer, the email arrives there too — forward it to yourself on WhatsApp or open it from your phone's email app. The file needs to be on the Android phone where Bicon will live.

Bicon arrives as a ZIP file, not a direct APK. Paystack doesn't support APK downloads directly, so we package it inside a ZIP. You'll unzip it in the next step.

02

Unzip the file.

Open your phone's Files app (sometimes called "My Files" or "File Manager"), go to Downloads, and tap Bicon-v1.0.1.zip. Your phone will offer to extract it — choose Extract or Unzip. After a couple of seconds, you'll see a new file appear: bicon.apk. That's the real installer.

If your phone doesn't have a built-in unzip option, install a free one like RAR or ZArchiver from the Play Store — both are free and trustworthy.

03

Allow your phone to install apps.

Tap bicon.apk from where you extracted it. The first time you try to install something outside the Play Store, Android will ask permission for the file manager (or browser) you opened it from. Tap Settings, toggle on "Allow from this source", then come back.

This is a one-time switch — Android remembers it for next time. You can turn it back off afterwards if you prefer.

Android may show a security prompt. This is normal for apps outside the Play Store.

04

Tap Install. You're done.

Android shows a confirmation: "Install this application?" Tap Install. A few seconds later, Bicon's icon appears on your home screen. Open it, run the quick setup wizard — name your business, add your logo, set your color — and start tracking your first order.

That's it. No accounts to create, no codes to enter. Bicon is yours.

Troubleshooting.

I can't find the email with the download link

The email comes from Paystack with the subject "We've received your order." If it's not in your inbox, check your spam, promotions, and updates folders — purchase emails sometimes land there. Search your inbox for "Paystack" or "Bicon."

Still missing? Email support@bicon.online from the same address you paid with and we'll resend the link within a few hours.

I downloaded a ZIP — where's the APK?

That's expected. Paystack doesn't let sellers upload APK files directly, so we wrap Bicon inside a ZIP. Open your phone's Files app → Downloads, tap Bicon-v1.0.1.zip, and choose Extract. The real bicon.apk file appears alongside it — that's what you install.

If your phone has no built-in unzip option, get a free one from the Play Store like RAR or ZArchiver.

"App not installed" error

Usually means an older version of Bicon is already on the device with a different signature. Long-press the existing Bicon icon → App info → Uninstall, then try installing again. If it's your first install ever, restart your phone and re-download the APK — the file may have been incomplete.

"This file may harm your device"

Standard Android warning for any app installed outside Google Play — it doesn't mean the file is unsafe. Tap Details, then Install anyway. Bicon is signed and built by us. If you'd like to verify the file, email us and we'll send you the SHA-256 checksum.

Can't find "Allow from this source"

On older Android versions (7 and below) it's a single global setting: Settings → Security → Unknown sources. Toggle it on, install Bicon, then toggle it back off. On Android 8+ the permission is per-app — Android takes you to the right screen automatically when you try to install.

Install hangs at "Verifying…"

Play Protect is scanning the file — it can take 30-60 seconds on a slow connection. If it's stuck longer than two minutes, cancel, turn off Play Protect briefly (Play Store app → Profile → Play Protect → Settings → Scan apps with Play Protect), reinstall, then turn it back on.

I'm changing phones — how do I move Bicon?

Two steps. On your old phone: open Bicon → Settings → Backup, and save the backup file somewhere you can reach from the new phone (Google Drive, WhatsApp to yourself, etc.). On your new phone: reinstall Bicon using the original download link from your email (or reply to that email and we'll send a fresh one), then Settings → Restore from backup.

Still stuck — what now?

Email us at support@bicon.online with your phone model, Android version, and a screenshot of the error if you can. Reply to your purchase email if it's easier — that way we already know who you are. We usually respond within a few hours, and there's a real person on the other end.

Welcome aboard.

Bicon is now yours. If you ever need anything, we're a reply away.
